Metalstorm offers a selection of game modes. In standard matchmaking, the rotation alternates between Team Deathmatch, Air Superiority, and Priority Target across different maps every 30 minutes. Progress and points can only be earned through matches in this rotation. In Custom Matches, available from the “Select Game Mode” button, players can access Team Deathmatch, Air Superiority, Elimination, VIP Deathmatch, and Priority Target. Custom Matches unlock at Pilot Level 7 and are mainly used for practice and tournaments.
